Have you ever been to a haunted aquarium? Here's your chance! The La Jolla Birch Aquarium is sponsoring its 8th annual "Haunted Birch Aquarium" on October 24th, 25th and 26th from 6 pm to 9 pm. Costume contest judging will take place in the Galleria from 6:00 to 7:15 pm and winners will be announced at 7:30 pm.
Your "spooktacular" journey will begin at the spirited pumpkin patch and then will take you down the trail to the haunted hall of fishes where you will find the wolf eels, moon jellies and other marine life that slither and float in 
the dark.
There will even be water games that will teach you conservation skills and help world-renowned Scripps Oceanography researchers with their scientific experiments. No visit to the aquarium would be complete without close encounters with live creatures...so get ready for globs of hagfish slime or a meet-and-greet with skeleton shrimp.
Come join the fun, howl at the moon and share your spooky adventure with your family and friends this Halloween at Birch Aquarium at Scripps. Dance the monster mash with live music, munch on faBOOlous cookies and sip hot apple cider. Fun for all!
